The windows Photo Gallery has a function to email a photo. I click email and it offers to resize. I choose the size and it says preparing image but nothing happens. I expected an email to open up or something. I have filled in a bug report. Has anyone else had the same issue? Maybe I am doing it wrong?

cannot send photo email from gallery
Works fine for me except that it uses Outlook (I have Office 2007 installed) rather than windows mail which surprised me.

It would if you accepted Outlook as your default email client.

Nope, Windows Mail is my default.

In fact I have not even configured Outlook and the picture I sent is setting in the Outlook outbox. Looks like a bug to me.

When you selected the size and it prepared it, did you get a new email window come up?
Sure does. If it is an Office bug, the Vista team will forward it, so you only need to report it once.
